The main reason I love this place is: I've witnessed the countless lives of veterans be transformed through excellent care and phase based treatment, me being one of them. Children getting back their parents, (my daughter getting her father back), spouses getting their loved ones back, communities getting their members back. If you were to see so many successes happening before your eyes you'd surely love this place too. Excellent veteran care.

Read News article of man missing for 1 to 3 months, he was found in stairwell that was closed for COVID safety reasons. They blocked stairwells for safety Without Checking to be sure they were Empty. No Common Sense. Negligent & Incompetant. I selected 3 stars to be neutral, I was never there so I really can't say one or another.

The best care my husband has had after being in 2 other facilities. It may be institutional in its decor but the care and cleanliness of this facility is wonderful. Food is great, staff is caring and my husband is always clean shaven and well dressed. Maybe not all units at the VA are this well maintained I don’t know but unit 62A is exemplary in late stage dementia care. Just sorry we did not go there sooner.
