We closed down our Company after 38 years and had A LOT of wiring and metal to dispose of. On ringing around for quotes, this Company stood out from the start. I dealt with Josh and he was as good as his word all the way through. Bassett Waste was the only one to offer cash back for the scrap value. To be honest, I was skeptical at first thinking it was too good to be true. But I was more than happy with the service AND the price. They arrived on time – to the minute – which is not easy in Soho. They also had a 7 ton lorry which meant fewer trips and a cheaper price. Josh was invaluable in helping us to load the lorry in an amazingly short period of time. Rang asking for collection of some old furniture from my bin store. Joshua was very polite and helpful. Sent men to collect the items within half an hour and I was able to pay via bank transfer meaning I didn't have to be home for the collection. Will definitely use again and highly recommend.
Peter Bassett was charming and efficient to deal with, was immensely flexible when it came to timings and last minute details, at all times had a positive attitude and the actual clearance of a large floor of offices in SW1 was quick, neat and tidy and the whole team working on the job were polite and professional at all times. I would most definitely employ Bassett Waste again and highly recommend them to others. It should also be mentioned that their price was highly competitive.
