The owner is a bit eccentric but friendly at the same time. The restaurant has a seasonal menu, which changes a bit each day and is read by the owner to each table. Great Italian home cooking - a real gem and an essential restaurant to visit whilst in Bassano!
Amazing food. The only negative reviews you will see are from people who either arrive late for their reservations, or, expecting something fancy. Excellent typical small restaurant. Delicious spring specialities like asparagus and lamb when I was there. Quite busy at lunchtime even in April so get there early!
Excellent home-style food for a good price.
Loved this restaurant, especially the fresh mushroom pasta. The wine is very cheap but not fantastic. The owner is gruff but friendly and speaks enough English to get by. Best to book ahead unless you come very early in the evening
Excellent authentic Italian food in Nice surroundings, would definitely recommend!
Although my husband and I had a simple meal, pasta with veal ragu, the pasta was cooked perfectly and the veal tender. The ample salad was welcomed after traveling in Slovenia and Croatia where vegetables we're scarce. Best of all, the price was most affordable!
