Authentic, if a little run-down, restaurant close to the main train station. Tasty dishes and a daily lunch menu, though still not a great deal money-wise. Also massively burnt coffee. Good thing is you won’t leave hungry - good sized meals, fresh ingredients and quick enough service, if a bit rough at times. Make reservations for lunch, as the proximity to train station and offices around attracts crowds.

Good beer. Late night place (Mulhouse style late night!) Huge crowd outside with little effort to ensure social distancing and no service unless you were at one of the three tables! Inside; good effort with queuing system at the bar BUT that meant we're *inside* for 15 minutes with people we don't know. That's spread right there. We had one drink and went elsewhere. Good selection of beers, efficient bar and lounge staff but clearly the management here are putting profit before the safety of patrons.

Had a ham,cheese and a sunny side up egg Rosti and Fondue porcini. It was my first Swiss cheese fondue, so can’t make any comparisons, though the flavour of wine was quite prominent. One person portion was quite generous as the bread fills you up fast. Food came quite quickly and the staff are very friendly. Great location just 2 minute walk from the Basel train station. Nice place for a meal before heading off to the airport with bus 50 nearby.

Just fantastic! We loved the atmosphere, easy location right by the train station. Comparable prices. And the food. So delicious! Lots of it too. We couldnt finish our rosti so we took it home. It was just as good the next day. Highly recommend.

I had the classic fondue. The cheese etwas not very tasty and not well spiced. Also the amoubt of cheese was not that much. The bread wqs really not good.
