Amazing experience! I came to dine in twice during my trip to Basel, last year. I loved the filled beignets and the food was to die for. I have to say the staff was really friendly and attentive. Since we did not have reservations they did everything possible to give us a table. This place was my favorite in Basel. The place was nice and the location is great. There is a lot to see around this area. I can’t wait to go back and visit Basel again.

We tried to walk-in during the week but were turned away. We booked for the following night - and it was worth the wait! Had soup to start which was thick and piping hot. Great start. We ordered 2 lamb and two other dishes including stew. Both thought the stew was better than the lamb which was slightly under cooked for my taste. We were not asked for our preference. The stew was delicious with a variety of flavours on the plate. The hot berry with cream and ice cream was great! Strong raspberry flavours with the cold ice cream was wonderful. With drinks to it was over 200 but was great. I'd definitely go back. Five stars

If u are craving for some good Swiss food, Schnabel is a good place to go. Atmosphere was great too! The waiters were very friendly and welcoming. The food was really good and portions were huge! We also ordered a cheese fondue to share. (Ps. We were 4 adults)
