Read about it online so was planning on it to be loaded out, but lucky they were in a position to cater to us. Wonderful food and cocktails too, you won't be disappointed. I came here with my sister and we both thought the food was superb and the personnel were superb. Our Server was in fact brilliant and made our dinner even more enjoyable along with his big smile and friendly attitude. My little sister and I were really fulfilled with the top quality ingredients that are actually locally sourced, everything tasted genuinely fresh. The ingredients are fresh And locally sourced, however the prices remain low.

Fantastic little restaurant, feels like eating with the locals. A menu of 3 dishes is written up on the chalkboard but the best option is the delicious cheese fondue. This comes with ample bread and optional garlic on the side, however I found the fish was delightful without the garlic added. Great experience with the food. The wine is another highlight, before ordering anything I was offered (complimentary) samples of three Swiss wines. These were all great and reasonably priced, so I selected my favourite and this matches with the fondue very well The third element that made this a brilliant restaurant in Basel was the host. She was extremely friendly and welcomed everyone at the restaurant. There was even a local chap in the corner who had a bit much to drink (very amusing) and was “managed out” in a very friendly way. This added to the authentic charm of this restaurant. Very highly recommended!

A nice quaint little local bar out of the main touristy part of town with a decent homemade fondue.
