my experience has been positive if it wasn’t for the following frustrating items: 1) I received a call a couple of days before the scheduled pickup to ask if a 20 FT container would be acceptable instead of a 40 ft. container because the driver was not confident about maneuvering into my street and I did not receive a response until the day of the pickup which kept me quite nervous about whether or not i was going to fit all of my belongings into the potential 20container that may show up in my house. In my perspective, this is not acceptable as i had already made all the plans to fill a 40 container. 2) on the day of the pickup, the truck showed up 2 hours and 45 minutes late, so we had to pay 2 extra hours 400 to the movers we hired by the hour. The delay at the port could have been handled with more planning and it should not entirely rest on my expenses. In addition, i was not informed that the container required bringing my own straps to secure the load so i had to go buy them at the last minute. I asked for a partial refund due these inconveniences and my request was completely ignored by multiple iContainer representatives. 3) the sales representative told me that iContainers could assist if i needed to find a storage location for the load or container upon its arrival in Sevilla. I asked for assistance in this regard to multiple iContainer representatives that were managing my container both in the USA and in Spain and my inquiry went completely ignored. 4) after i found a storage place by myself, i had to pay extra for the change when the storage location was further outside of the city instead of the original location that was more into the city. this was unfair. This company seems to do things by the book (which they are good at) and care little about customer service.

We searched many different offers from companies that will help us move our household from California to a small village in the mountains of Leon in Spain. Given our circumstances and lifestyle we were not looking for a full moving company, and for those in the corporate high life our review might not be comparable. Price wise, we were offered the same service a door to door container for thousands less. The challenge was to load, secure and organize our stuff ourselves, including the car. Likewise, it was on us to unload and dispatch the container in less than three hours upon arrival. The level of communication was excellent both in the US side of the company as well as in the Spanish one. In Spain, Alba was amazing and incredibly professional which is the style that I prefer. The only relatively minor for me issue, but something that could have been difficult otherwise was that the anticipated date of delivery was the 17th of July and instead we received the container on the 27th. I expressed my concern to the company and they were (Alba) diligent providing all the information necessary so that I could understand not just the reason for the delay, but how it would be addressed. All in all a fantastic experience. I recommend iContainers without reservation.
