Best tiger reserve camp in india, higher chances to see Royal Bengal Tiger

I visited the tiger reserve in December when chances of tiger siting are moderate. Due to very high demand over the Xmas weekend, we could only get safari booking for the Dhamokar zone (buffer) however, our overall experience was fantastic. Buffer zone has lower wildlife density as compared to core zones and probability of siting tiger is also relatively lower however, it's not zero. In fact one of the gypsies in our slot spotted the Tiger. We were lucky to see a Sloth Bear who is even rarely seen as compared to tigers. Our guide and safari driver were nice and they tried their best to follow warning calls from deer/monkeys and locate the tiger. I would certainly plan more trips to explore wilderness of this amazing national park.

Bandhavgarh is a region located in Umaria district, towards the north-eastern border of Madhya Pradesh. Situated amidst the Satpura and Vindhya ranges, Bandhavgarh is famous for its wildlife resources and eco-tourism initiatives. Apart from Royal Bengal tigers, sambar, chital, chinkara, barking deer, wild boar, leopard and sloth bears can also be found in this region. Along with the adjoining Panpatha Sanctuary, Bandhavgarh National Park was included under the Project Tiger Network in 1993
