Badia a Passignano is a magic place. In the middle of CHianti hills, it offers the possibility really understand and appreciate how - during middle ages - more than 100 monks used to live in the abbey. Among the various things you can see, the amazing fresco by Domenico Ghirlandaio (recently restored) will surprise you. The best option to get there is by guided e-bike tour. The interiors of the abbey and Chianti rolling hills will exceed your expectations.

Even if we were not able to see the “Last Supper” painting the pictorial quality of the chapel is really high. It deserves a visit.

Nice quaint place. Will need a personal transport. The restaurant was expensive but looked good. Vineyards all around.
