Very nice place to hike with friends in summer and weekend. Get the bus 150 from Bad Langesalza. 2.1 for arrive and 2.5 to come back (Idk why ). Bus schedule as in photo. I recommend to wear long pants to protect from insects. 5e for observation tower but it's deserved. P/s: on Mon and Wed, they have free trip through the forest with tour guide. Super cool

Beautiful park. Very nice trails. From Eisenach, the best way to get to the park is to go to Thiemsburg. The easiest way to get there is using the bus #150 from platform 4C at the Eisenach ZOB. The bus leaves every hour or so (the schedule can be found using the DB app if you put your drop off location as Thiemsburg).
