Good for kids
I really came here to see the Burns Monument. Turns out it's currently being refurbished. The monument is currently surrounded by scaffolding and fenced off to the public. The gardens are nice, but that's not what I wanted to see. This place is right next to the Brig O'Doon and 5 minutes walk to the Burns Birthplace Museum. So it's not too much of a detour. If you only want to see the monument, then it's a bit of a disappointment.

Great, extravagant monument with some great views. Gardens some great colours in Autumn.
Always a great place to visit and teach the kids a out their local history
This is a really great place and had a great views of the Brigadoon Bridge and the river it's great have it still open to the public and it feels really authentic it's not been 'over safetied' with regulation and such. The paint on the inside and outside is crumbling however and maybe could do with a new paint job.
Beautiful
