The food was just like the decor: confusing and all over the place. The food was extremely uninspiring and just overall mediocre. The service was a bit snooty. Generally the price around Avignon are much cheaper than that of Paris, and this is place is considered at the high end of the price range for this town. The prices are 37 (2 courses)/39 (2 courses)/44 (3 courses) euros. To put that in persoective, we went to a different place the night before that charged 33 euros for 3 courses with large portions. Overall, I’d expected a much better meal for the price they were charging. Skip this place as there are much better restaurants around town that are cheaper.

Excellent service and a wonderful meal! We sat outdoors in the enclosed courtyard that protected us from the windy conditions that day. The food is excellent - this was our second visit and we were equally pleased this visit. I really enjoyed the Sabayon desert which was light.
Good but not great. Cozy tucked-away outdoor terrace, but more expensive than the quality warrants. The menu felt more appropriate for winter (cassoulet, pig feet, etc.) than hot Provincial summer. Very bland service — no menu explanation and no smile.
Nicely decorated portions and fresh ingredients. It's always nice to visit a restaurant where owners work so hard in front and back.
A beautiful restaurant tucked away into the city walls, they were welcoming and attentive. Our ships concierge recommend this quaint restaurant for my self, my wife and our daughter. Warm and inviting, excellent wine selection and moreover, the food was stupendous. Beautifully plated, exceptionally flavorful and ingenuously inventive for all 5 courses. The Five Senses was fabulous for everyone and all five of our senses!
Pleasant. Good food. Service friendly if not totally up there. Food was tasty. Some of the staff were obviously in training i.e. Not very confident but you have to learn at some point. Gaspatcho was good so was the hake and the cheeseboard. Reasonable pricing for the service and quality.
Good food, service not very welcoming
We waited for 20 minutes and no one approached our table: clearly understaffed. When we stood up to leave a lady, perhaps the owner, came over and was very unapologetic, in fact, was very snooty. We decided to stay. Food was excellent. Tense atmosphere.
