I love this place!!! All of the workers are so friendly and helpful, especially Jamie. She made sure that me and the kids I babysit had a super personable experience and made us laugh. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the Austin area looking for an authentic family friendly meal, including awesome food! My wife went to Anderson high school in 1980, she attended when Wallys opened up back in the same year. It has been 30 years since she had eaten there. We came in on a Wednesday and we’re immediately greeted with a welcome by one of the employees. We Ordered a couple of burgers french fries and a drink and found our table. Everything was perfectly cooked and extremely tasty. Im a burger aficionado and have tried just about every burger in the Austin area. I swear I’ve had this hamburger somewhere before, I can’t quite place it but I will figure it out. This burger was really good and I highly recommend giving it a try if you’re in the area. Oh I almost forgot, the butterscotch shake is absolutely the bomb. Give it a try.
Ok, so came back today. They fixed and changed the experience. Was Rockstar service today. Jamie helped me out. She was a Rockstar.
This was my first time at Wally's. It was a hole in one. Friendly attention. Reasonable wait time. Hot food was HOT. Cold food was COLD. Order was Correct. This might be the best drive thru burger I have ever had. I ordered the Steak house burger (same ingredients as an A1 Thick and Hearty). It was the perfect temperature and everything was the perfect ratio. The burger was sauced but not sloppy, onions and bacon were, neither, overcooked or undercooked, and the fries were hot and crispy!! I am crossing my fingers that I didn't get lucky and it's like this every time! Would highly recommend! (I was so excited about the experience that I forgot to take photos this visit!)
Love Wally’s! Come here a lot, kids love it! Jaime, Chris, & Mo are the best! Food’s great, too! Love a mom & pop-style “fast” food joint!
