The last two years, I have had a great experience with Arapahoe little league. There are definitely more good coaches than bad coaches in the league. I have only seen one bad coach per season so far. This year is different. I can't speak for other age divisions but in the farm league, I signed my son up to learn how to be competitive and improve his game and be more aggressive on the field. I signed him up to learn when to be aggressive, how to be a good winner as well as a good looser. This year in the farm league, it appears that they are embracing the modo of everyone gets a trophy and moving away from being competitive as they are just randomly assigning playoff spots and if they have a good hit, they get the same amount of bases as if they got a bad or mediocre hit. I am very disappointed this season as the rules have been changing from game to game and my son is not learning what I signed him up to learn about team sports and competitiveness and rules in general.
