Horrible! I was very excited as I am a Cuban living in Georgia and the few Cuban restaurants around here are quite far and I found this one that was relatively close. I called in an order for pick up of 3 medianoche sandwiches and right off the bat they tell me they have no medianoche bread, but that a Cuban sandwich is the same ingredients, so I ordered 3 Cuban sandwiches. I arrived and picked up my order, which by the way, the prices were not the ones advertised. When I got to my car, I opened the sandwich and to my surprise it looked like a pan con lechón, not a Cuban sandwich at all! I called the lady and explained this to her and she stepped out and picked up my sandwiches and took them inside to inspect them, then she called me back in and there was this short and plump blonde older lady with blue eyes who took apart my sandwich in front of me and 3 soldiers who were waiting for their order inside the restaurant. She dug in the sandwich, wearing gloves, to show me one small slice of ham and 2 slices of pickle with one slice of melted cheese hidden among a ton of shredded pork, she then proceeded to tell me that she had put a lot of meat, but that it was a Cuban sandwich and if I wanted she would take some pork off. At this point I was embarrassed in front of the soldiers and I told her that I was used to Cuban sandwiches from miami where the pork is sliced and you can see the slices of pork and ham and cheese. She then in a very rude and obnoxious manner told me that “that is how they do it in miami, this is how we do it here in mami’s, I told her that ok, that I’ll take the sandwiches to stop the incident, and she then put the sandwich she had mangled back together and in the same shredded paper wrapped it up and shoved it in the bag. First and last time!

The atmosphere... as described... simple compact quarters and sidewalk dining. Cheerful, family run place. The food was very very good! Great Cuban sandwich too!
The Service and food was great. I ordered my food and 20 minutes this wonderful lady came out and delivered it to my car without me asking. When I got home the food made my house smell like restaurant! Wow!! I had the Lunch combo!A Cuban Sandwich and Rice and Black Beans!! And Yucca!! Thank You Ladies and Guys for such succulent food!! Feliz Navidad!!
The lady was nice I guess. The food didn’t take too long to come out. I ordered the steak sandwich. The steak was extremely dry, the bread was hard, I didn’t enjoy. I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while now. Love the atmosphere outside, but I was also told that if I wanted to eat outside, do not ask for it to go. (Which is fine) but okay! Why even put the energy into telling me that? But I respect the memo. I just won’t eat here again. Btw the food was thrown into the trash because it was extremely dry.
This place is outstanding beyond description, but I'll do my best. The portion size is good, the flavor is outstanding, and the prices are unbelievably low when evaluated against the quality and quantity of food. The vibe is low-key; don't expect a lively party atmosphere, just amazing food at unreal prices.
