I just wanted to let you know about my experience today visiting the Fulton County Government center. I am Fulton County retiree and I went to the government center to turn in paperwork changing my health benefits. I was warmly greeted by security as soon as I walked through the doors. They was very helpful in directing me to the personnel office where I thought i needed to go. Once I got there and explained to the receptionist that I needed to see Ms Verna Thomas, she advised me that her office was on the 7th floor in the finance department. Even though I didn't have an appointment the receptionist there was also very friendly and called Ms Thomas to help me. Ms Thomas was exceptional and made sure all my paperwork was in order and explained the whole process in detail to my wife and I including costs and how the different plans worked. Long story short, with all the negativity we are bombarded with today, it is nice to see how the system ought to work and does work in Fulton County. I just wanted you to know that you still have a great bunch of employees.

was on hold for more than an hour. no one answered. i gave up. was calling because I haven't received a bill and don't want my water cut off at my secondary home at 5125 Harbou r Ridge Drive Alpharetta 30005. I am sure I will be punished for my complaint.
