This was my introduction to Ethiopian food and I can not wait to go back! The food was superb! Honorable mention to the collard greens and cabbage! The lamb was nice and tender and seasoned to perfection. This will be my go to spot when I move to Atlanta! Came back to add that our waitress was very helpful in making the selection. She provided excellent service all around! I wish I remembered her name. (visit date: 2/13/2021 midday)

This place is amazing! It was my first time having Ethiopian food and I can’t wait to come back. We got the vegan platter so we could get all the yummy sides lamb and rice. The miser (spicy red lentils) and lamb were my favorite. Price is very affordable, seating was comfy and service was excellent.
The food here is great. I had the best tasting Salad with shrimps was the best ever. Very friendly place to visit. I just this New place.
Food is great. But it will likely be cold if ordering pickup. They really need a better pickup system. Currently cars wrap around the building and you wait to get to the window for your Order thats ready. But the car ahead if you is holding you up because their order isn't ready yet. They need to take cues from chick fil a.
We choose to have \all meat\ option. It's good for 2 people. The food was neatly presented with side dishes on separate plates. The taste wasn't the best I had but it was very good. The service was on of the best services I had in any ethiopian restaurant. A lot of ethiopian restaurants don't understand customer service is essential to have recurring customers. I think Desta has excelled in this. Anywho you will see me again at Desta.
