Superb breakfast today at Macknades. Slight alternative menu to the norm, which is amazing. Food is prepared and presented to a high standard and the coffee is really good. Lovely vibrant atmosphere, open and bright. adhering to Covid safety measure too! Well done.

Nice big store. Lots of specialist cheese bread etc. Excellent choice of local vineyard wines. Due to lockdown shelves looked a bit bare, but saying that, I'd definitely go back and shop there .

I have been a fan of Macknades in Faversham for some time. I've now eaten at the Ashford branch a few times and never been disappointed. It is much more \trendy\ and finished with a smaller offering of fruit/veg/ cheese etc. It is more about the dining experience which feels above the cafe that Faversham offers. There is a solid offering of brunches and lunches as well as a few good dinner options. The crowd today was refreshingly diverse - a few young people drinking coffee, some older people shopping and quite a nice vibe. Service was table based due to the pandemic and was attentive and quick. No long waits for food or drink and reasonable prices. Ashford town centre has been gifted something very special here and I hope people support it. I'd love the food offering to grow to match favershams farm shop in time but am ecstatic it's here
