This is a local pub suggested to us by a local Dublin handyman. Lovely all of the way around. I had the fried chicken strips and everything on my plate was piping hot even until the end of the meal. Same with the Vegetarian chili (rice is delicious), and with the Guinness beef casserole. The small size should suffice any appetite with the casserole. Veronica, our sweet and attentive server, could not have been any more helpful or pleased to be working at Arthur's. Cheers, Veronica!!!

Visiting Ireland for the first time and we stayed nearby. Arthur's was our first stop and we came back several times during our 4 days in the city. The food was delish. We tried almost everything on the main course menu and loved it all. The ambiance was great. And our sever (Dillon?) was very friendly and helpful. Seems like a pretty popular place based on how packed it was in the evening!

We loved Arthur’s for a variety of reasons. First, the historical significance of the pub is pretty cool and detailed on their menu. this includes the 200 year old candlesticks (pictured) Second, the food is actually really good and reasonably priced. This is echoed by the fact this is a place you can often find locals. Lastly, the live music is really nice and fun. It is hard to talk but well worth it to hear local bands and singers. We went here 3 times over the course of three days, here were some of our favorite dishes: Seafood chowder (excellent! And ordered multiple times) Veggie soup (as a soup of the day) Chicken curry (as a special of the day) Shepherds pie (ordered multiple times by different members of my party and pictured)

Great place to go before or after the Guinness Storehouse as it's only round the corner. Limited menu but I really enjoyed the vegetable curry as the veggie option. My sister had the Guinness stew (with beef) and she said it was amazing. Service was pretty good, really nice atmosphere. Regret not going back on subsequent nights but as they only have one veggie option (which was lovely) I didn't want to keep having the same meal. I support them doing a small menu really well but in an ideal world another veggie main would be perfection.

An enchanting experience. Popped in here after the Guinness tour and it was great! The authentic wood oven with great big candlesticks on the mantle kept the restaurant toasty and warm. We had the soup of the day and it was a great big bowl of heartwarming goodness - carrots, parnsips, a hint of spice and everything nice! Ordering the regular size of the beef casserole was a tad bit ambitious but enjoyed every bit of it. The Guinness and the Jameson was excellent as well.

Great place to stop for lunch or dinner if you are doing the tour. Food is very tasty, filling and a surprisingly good Irish flavor. I would definitely recommend it. Shepherd's pie was especially tasty.

The Shepard's Pie was awesome. The waitress was really friendly and asked a few times if we needed anything. If you are looking for some good Irish food I recommend stopping here. Awesome place I will visit again.

The ratings are better then the food here. If you want to eat something go somewhere else. The staff is super friendly, and the pup clean and nice.
