A great salute to the men and women who risks their lives to make this country a safer place.

This place is inside the military base. It is a great two-floor collection of well-preserved firearms, artefacts and uniforms from different conflicts dating back to pre- colonial times. Excellent English captions. Outside is a range of vehicles and weaponry. As an Aussie it was great to see some Australian arms and uniforms there, but any national with an interest in military history will like this place. It could perhaps be improved by including some contemporary artefacts from the past five years.

We were the only guests for the day but the curator turned on all the lights and air-conditioning. Cleanliness and presentability is excellent although I would agree with the people saying that there should be modern tools, video presentation and interactive displays, etc. to attract younglings to visit.

The museum is inside Camp Aguinaldo, and it is nearest the Pedestrian Gate along Col. Bonny Serrano Avenue if you are commuting. The Guards may ask you to leave an ID at the Gate and you will be given a Visitor's Pass. Entrance is free, I only saw their Outdoor Display, which is just as well because they don't allow people to take pictures in the Indoor Display. There is a Tank, an Armored Personnel Carrier, a Torpedo, some Cannons, a Helicopter and even a Fighter Aircraft in the Outdoors Display. And it is wide enough for people to go around and take as much pictures at whatever angle that they want. The museum is open Mondays to Saturdays, from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm. If you are a Military Enthusiast, the place is highly recommended.

Nice museum inside a military base. To get in as a foreigner: - Go to pedestrian gate - Ask to get in; you will be told that you don't have a pass and cannot go inside - Smile & insist, keep asking what do you need to do to get a visitor pass to the museum - Keep insisting, wait for the guard to organize someone to take you to the museum - Get a private escort to the museum grounds (you might be the only visitor there)
