I often take my friends to this restaurant with my warmest recommendations. I visit this place often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The dishes they serve are fantastic and the crew is very friendly and cooperative. Whenever we visit this place we have a pleasing evening. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Dama Pastry & Cafe is a wonderful long standing family run Arlington business. Their food is absolutely delicious, and they cater to everyone's spice tolerance. In addition to a delicious main course, you have to save room for dessert! Their pastries are to die for, and as I understand their pastry chef worked in the White House as the White House's pastry chef under President Bill Clinton. Highly recommend going, once you go once, you'll keep wanting more.

A great place if you have the time for brunch/breakfast. The food was great and so was the coffee. It's only my second time eating Ethiopian food, but this place has made like the cuisine even better. We went there for brunch and it was a good place for it. For the cafe side of the establishment, the atmosphere is very much of a local place, with patrons (probably their regulars) having their morning coffee as they watch and discuss the soccer (I actually prefer to call it football) game playing over the small screen overhead. I didn't see many tourist there, but considering we went at 10am on a Saturday, maybe we missed the morning rush from the people staying at the hotel nearby already. The only point I took off was for forgetting our order, but they were very nice about it, and noticed before we got up to ask. The server and cashier were very friendly and helpful to the two girls who know next to nothing of Ethiopian food and explained in detail what were were to expect inside our food. Highly recommend this place.
