Great ancien castle blended with the scenery around of an ancien town.

An interesting point to check out as it is located at the centre of the old town with lots of restaurants and shops. A nice spot to take some photos in a sunny day. We kept walking back to the same place a the old town is not so big but full of surprises if you pay some attentions to the buildings. I guess this is the main point of interest of the old town.

It was used as a prison. Today, it is an exhibition place about the architecture and the heritage of Annecy's territory. It offers a permanent tour of the history and heritage of this area. You can visit the former court rooms, the former cells and dungeons of the prisoners, as well as the former chapel.

This city was very nice weather in summer time. I love blue lake, and will come back in next time.

I haven't actually been inside the castle, but it's a great photo opportunity, especially in the French sun. I highly recommend getting some shots if you're an avid photographer!

Annecy's landmark, functions as a museum. Entrance fee is reasonable (3,80 euros) and one can gather information both about the building and Annecy's history. Designated room/space for children and very friendly staff!
