We made it our stop our last day in the area as it was on our way to the airport. We wanted to visit from the 1st day when we saw it from the other side of the lake. The views are great, but also worth spending time in the museum and reading about the different parts of the castle. There is a toy museum which has various thematic rooms some more interesting than others. Definitely worth staying there for around 2h to be able to see and enjoy everything. Use the leaflet as majority of visitors seem to have missed the entry to the tower.

A beautiful place with amazing views. We visited this place after a morning of rain. There is more than the castle to visit. The gardens are beautiful and well managed. We climbed to the very top, although I'm not keen on heights, it really was well worth the climb.
The doll collection was better than we expected. The sun terrace is also nice. More history would make it even more exciting.
Very beautiful views, entrance isn't expensive. Definetly recommend!
Charming and interesting - in particular thanks to the marvelous view of the lake from the top and for the extensive toy museum, without doubt a different experience from your usual museums. The visit includes different locations only reachable by stairs - something to keep in mind in case of any form of impaired mobility.
