I have been using Seaplanes North for 15 years to maintain, repair and improve my C-185 and PA-18 aircraft. It’s staff and mechanics are both top rate. It is without question the best general aviation repair and maintenance facility in the State of Alaska, and I give it my 5-star endorsement!
I used to sell aircraft parts add another business in Anchorage. Whenever a customer needed a part that I didn’t have in stock Seaplanes North was the first place that I called and 99% of the time they had what I needed to make my customer happy. Not only that but they hand-delivered the part to my business same day so I didn’t have to go pick it up! I then eventually became an employee of Seaplanes North because I was so impressed with how they ran their business and the quality of their work that I wanted to be a part of their team. Not only was I well treated by fellow employees, the management staff there was the best I’ve ever worked for and cared about me as a person and not just another employee. They truly set a work/family atmosphere to be home away from home. When I move back to Alaska Jeff Walker will be the first person I when I get into town to see if he has any job openings because I loved working there so much!! Recommend SPN to anyone and everyone especially when it comes to your floats!!
Ordered the wing tip extensions WingsX, had them picked up in Anchorage to ship out to me, They arrived with the tip bent, box all intact, no instructions. When called wanted an extra 10.00 for instructions they forgot to include in box
