A treat of a restaurant in Old Amersham. Convivial and cosy atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff and consistently superlative tasting menus. Not cheap but great for a special occasion and superb value for money overall.
I had high hopes for this place - but I genuinely feel robbed of my money (over 100!). I'm vegetarian and the set menu was a disaster - reusing the same ingredients with a lack of creativity, a complete cop out. The best thing about the meal was the bread and butter at the beginning, then it took a downward spiral. I will not be returning.
Very impressive tasting menu. Great wine and experience. The staff is lovely and definitely add value to the experience. For anniversary celebration is ideal!
