Definitely worth a trip. And ignore post below as any car will be capable of driving right up to the church. Really peaceful and Holy feeling, bats roosting inside with stunning view and natural surroundings.

Well worth the drive to discover this fascinating little church built into the rocks. It's a tiny little church but with amazing views and lovely paths to explore all around it. Suitable for all cars to drive to, and paths are well walked, not great for pushchairs though!

An amazing church with a very powerful story behind it. Saw the church on a Jeep Safari with an amazing guide that gave us the historical background. Definitely worth visiting and watching the sunset is also lovely from the hill

I visited this little church 25 years ago while pregnant with my last child. it was the most amazing experience to say prayers in such a peaceful setting. It is a place I have never forgotten...where people should visit at least once in a lifetime..

Beautiful hidden spot in Protaras. A small church in a cave. You drive uphills to reach the place. Nice view from there.

Fantastic little church down a long gravel road. It is built into the side of the hill and is tucked away. This is away from main tourist attractions and when we arrived we were the only ones here. Please respect the Church and those who use it even if you are not religious... clearly a well loved placed and still used to this day. There are no toilets here nor refreshment stops. Rent a quad to get here as the roads are uneven and difficult and 4/5km down gravel/dirt roads. Will take 10-15 mins from main road.
