Advantis sent me a letter as confirmation of address, rang them up in a blunt Yorkshire fashion but was greeted by a lovely lass called Lydia (hope that’s right) after some difficulties finding my reference number and determining whether I could pay 80 to the DVLA in pennies we got it sorted. No one likes to deal with these companies but well done Lydia from customer relations, you dealt with an aggro me very well.
Don't feel the need to go into much detail following the reviews already posted. However I'd very much avoid answering anything advantis send unless you are aware of any debt you owe. Refused to even explain who they were or where they were calling from unless I answered there \security questions\... Didn't even know the number they were calling was a business, kept asking me if anyone else lives in the property as if I'd got my \Security questions\ wrong. Incredibly unhelpful, general SCAM.
I’m an ex employee. Let me tell you, this place is the epitome of irony. I was dismissed via phone call less than 2 weeks into “training” because I supposedly slammed a door. The trainers constantly breach the Data Protection Act by telling anyone who asks why previous employees have been dismissed/disclosing confidential meeting details. The Coronavirus protocols are a complete joke. An agent in my training group openly admitted to watching an animal being tortured and got funny with me when I questioned it.
Got letter asking to confirm if I live at my address, which is random. Then received letter saying I need to make a payment for HM Revenue & Customs, apparently HMRC did not change address in the first place . Made payment, month later received letter saying I need to make payment again, called, they asking for my date of birth, which has nothing to do with my issue, but as usual you get bullied in to it as apparently they can't access account without it, which is nonsense. Gave payment reference number, now been asked to email screen shot of payment as they can't find it on their system. Of course tone changed as now they are in the wrong. I been suggested that they will stop sending letters for 5 days but after that they will carry on. I don't understand how we as humans can be bullied like that by big companies for their mistakes. HMRC did not update their records and now these lost payment. How is it my fault that they can't do their jobs but am here sitting on a phone for an hour and writing emails like it's my wrong doing. Complete bullies.
