An exceptionally positive experience from start to finish! From the moment I made the call; the lady I spoke with was most helpful, friendly and efficient. I needed a damp survey done at the property I was purchasing so Garratt's arranged this directly with the estate agents, on my behalf. Ian carried out the survey and was also a pleasure to communicate with; he called me en route to the property and asked whether I had any specific things I'd like him to investigate and also assured me of the work he would carry out. The survey was completed on the Friday, and I received the report on the Monday morning which I was very impressed with. All of this wonderful service was provided at zero cost to me, which I find absolutely remarkable! I highly recommend this company and most certainly will be using them again, without hesitation.

Very professional. They came (on time) to inspect a damping issue, and when they found out that the cause was condensation and isolation problems, they explained that the best course of action for us was simply to keep the room heated, or we could also do isolation works around our windows. I'm happy they didn't try to push for expensive unnecessary work. They did all this for free and refused compensation for what was supposed to be a quote but ended up being a consultation. I would thus highly recommend them.

Had a time slot between 1 and 4, it got to 4:15 I called them to find out if they were still coming or not. When they finally arrived at 4:35. Tried to drill a hole in my wall for the second time as this was there second visit because they failed to do the job a few days before hand because they didn’t have the right drill which is fine, we arranged another day. Still got absolutely no where.. it was getting to 7:30pm still no success, wall looks a mess still waiting for the job to be complete which I have no idea when this will be. No dust sheets were used during the process of the drilling because he said he didn’t have any.. my kitchen and all my belongings were covered in dust everywhere. Just a complete waste of time.

Integrity! They came along to look at what I thought was damp. It transpires that it isn't damp and no work is required. A less honest firm could simply have charged me for unnecessary work ! Thank you
